If you create or sign in to an account, Dicte may process your name, email address, user ID, authentication identifiers, and basic profile information provided by your sign-in provider.
Dicte processes microphone audio when you actively use dictation. Audio is used to turn your speech into text. Dicte does not use your audio for advertising.
Dicte may process app interaction data, such as setup progress, keyboard configuration actions, sign-in state, and dictation feature usage, to provide app functionality and improve reliability.
Dicte may process crash logs, diagnostics, app interaction data, and device or installation identifiers needed to operate the app, troubleshoot errors, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Dicte may use trusted service providers to operate sign-in, account management, security, diagnostics, and speech transcription. These providers process data only as needed to provide services to Dicte and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising.
Dicte does not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with the service providers described above when needed to operate sign-in, account management, speech transcription, diagnostics, support, security, or legal compliance. Voice audio is shared only when you actively use dictation so that speech can be transcribed.
Dicte uses encrypted network connections and reasonable security measures to protect account data, audio sent for dictation, diagnostics, and related app data.
Dicte retains account data only as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support requests. Voice audio used for live dictation is intended to be processed for the transcription request, not kept as a long-term recording by Dicte. You can request deletion of your Dicte account and associated personal data at any time.
To request deletion, visit the Dicte account deletion page. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or regulatory reasons.
This policy may be updated as Dicte changes. The current version will remain available on this page with an updated effective date.
